We try to make it out to Ron’s place once or twice a year if possible. We usually help him clean out his garage that he has been working out of for 30+ years. When we first visited him in 2023 we needed to squeeze past the workbenches covered in suppressor parts. It is always a treasure trove of OPS/AE history.
Ron is letting his FFL/SOT expire which means he will officially be retiring from making suppressors. He has been winding down and fulfilling all his outstanding orders, but now he is done. Since he is closing his books we thought it would be a good opportunity to go over and have him reflect on his time making suppressors.
Ron begrudgingly accepted to let us interview him on video. This is a passion project for us. Not only can we sit down and chat with Ron about the legacy he has built, but we can let you guys in to see the man behind the legend.
